I bought this book because I have struggled with diets over the years, and have found the no carbs most successfull. But I had started to put on a wee bit weight again and I am not willing to accept this. I decided I needed an informed, balanced approach to losing my weight and improving my confidence. When I read about the hormones it was a lightbulb moment. I had to make out a card for each one as I dont naturally absorb this information, but having done this and followed through on the advice I feel incredibly renewed and confident and grateful that I am successful. I observe others and can see at a glance that they are all over the place hormonally and sooo needful of balance, I recomend this book for everyone, not just for weight loss, but to understand your body and how to respect it. A friend borrowed her book to me and I loved it so much, I ordered my own book on eBay! I think this book is great and I've learned so much. I now understand my own body so much better and applying the the rules to myself and my family have made us so much healthier. I have a nutrition back round and found it very easy to read, but it's possible that novices will have to read it a few times...it's well worth it though! I can see how so many of my friends are going wrong with their diet and lifestyle and have recommended that they read this book.
Fantastic book, it has genuinely changed the way I look after myself. My entire ethos has changed and the foods I prepare are all now completely clean. Clean eating has made me feel healthier, helped me lose weight, improved my skin and hair, and helped me to train harder. This is NOT a diet book, but it will change the way you look at not only food, but everything that your body comes into contact with, including household cleaners, shampoos etc.
