Mel C aka "Sporty Spice" is the most talented Spice Girl! I LOVE her songs, she is just amazing and has a wonderful voice, she can do it all! I LOVE how Mel C can rock out as well as sing more mid-tempo mellow songs as well. My favorite tracks on this album are at the end: "Let's Love" and "Yeh Yeh Yeh." I also really like "On The Horizon" - it always gets stuck in my head. :)
I had purchased this item on Amazon but the last track didnt play so I purchased it at a better price on ebay. I am a huge fan of Mel C. The first album of hers that I purchased was Beautiful Intentions and liked it so much that I had to have her other solo albums. I was a fan of the Spice Girls and always felt that Melanie's voice stood out above the other gals in the group. Most of my Melanie C purchases of posters, cds, and other items have been on ebay. I usually receive them promptly and at a very reasonable price.
Melanie C second solo album sees her continue along her path of Pop/indie/rock with well blended music and lyrics. From the opening song "Here It Comes Again" Melanie sets the tone of the whole album with beautiful lyrics. The rythms implemented are easy listening and gentle on the ear throughout some of Melanie's Fan Favourites, as is so often reminded whilst she is on tour. Full of everything from piano balladry to blasting rock anthems Mel has touched every base and ticked every box to ensure that this album can reach anybody with an interest in music! I bought as a replacement for a stolen copy of the album and even though I have it on the ipod there is nothing quite like hearing these amazing tracks in their purity on CD. Check out the tracks Reason, Home, let's Love and Yeh, Yeh, Yeh. All pretty damn awesome stuff indeed!Read full review
This is Melanie C's second album and the follow-up to 3x platinum debut "Northen Star". This album doesn't live up to the brilliance of its previous album but still has its moments of purepop gold. Here It Comes Again, the album's first single, is clearly the standout track whilst the ballad "Reason", is just beautiful. Yeh Yeh Yeh is a great closing track, but it's the middle that completely is dissapointing. Definately worth a listen, but compared to Melanie C's other 3 albums - this is very poor in comparison to the brilliance of her other work.
Being a huge fan of Melanie C i was gutted when i dropped my copy of Reason on the floor and it cracked! I had bought the CD on release and loved it, it was the only CD of Melanies that i hadnt uploaded to my laptop so had to buy it again! How on earth could i live without hearing Home and Lets Love again?! So i purchased it for a very reasonable price on here and am very happy with my purchase, and the professionalness of the overall sale!
