Entire third series of Simon Nye's popular sitcom. In 'Lovers', Gary (Martin Clunes) tries to convince Dorothy (Caroline Quentin) that he has had over 50 sexual partners in his time. 'Bed' sees Gary forced to venture out into the gales to find some indigestion tablets for Dorothy, while Tony (Neil Morrissey) attempts to mend the garden fence in an attempt to impress Deborah (Leslie Ash). In 'Casualties', Deborah is planning to sell her flat and move out, but the boys don't want her to go and attempt to prevent the deal going ahead. 'Weekend' finds Gary and Dorothy going away for the weekend to rekindle their sex lives. In 'Cleaning Lady', Gary and Tony employ a cleaning lady who turns out to be a nubile young Portuguese student. In 'Marriage', Gary proposes to Dorothy after consuming a litre and a half of Chianti.
