Good so far. Have installed MS Office and it seems to run ok. Surface Pro is good to use. Mouse pad on keyboard cover is quite small and seems stiff to click so I tend to use a stylus and the touch screen. Not used it a lot yet but happy with my purchase so far.

Make sure you check that the better type cover keyboard is available as the supplied type cover is not up to the mark. Digitiser pen is separate. V good value for money. Does what it says on tin though windows is still a clunky software for a tablet compared to apple

I chose the Surface Pro perfectly aware of its shortcomings. It's an ultrabook in a tablet form, so if you use it for intensive games it might get a little warm. It's got a stylus for note-taking and precise desktop app usage. You can buy a seperate, click-in keyboard that turns it into a full laptop, which I have chosen to do. There are only two major downsides, if money is no object. It weighs quite a bit, although it's within my comfort range- and I have weedy arms. And battery life is rated at 5 hours, but watching YouTube videos kicks that down to about 4. If you're looking for a tablet to play Angry Birds on- this is not it. If you're looking for a high-quality laptop, though, with a world-class touchscreen, Wacom stylus support, support for Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, AND the ability to play Angry Birds if you really want to, then this is your device. It's the right size for casual AND professional usage, and if you really need more screen size it's got a mini displayport in the side, so you can easily kit it out with a second monitor. Basically- it's not an iPad. But depending on what you need this for, that can be a good or a bad thing. For me, it's everything I've needed in one device to rule them all.Read full review

The laptop is fantastic but windows 10 is total rubbish. Be careful, if you put a mini-sd card with all your photos on it, they will all be synced to One Drive, which is the cloud. you need to disable the one drive app and delete all your photos from the cloud if you don't want them there. once it is disables, I could not play videos on my network. Everything is hidden in win 10, it takes hours of reading to find out how to access the simplest operation. Once you find out how to do something the result is generally good. I refuse to buy a Mac because of the learning involved but Win 10 is ten times worse!
