this part, although very expensive for two little bits of metal, is brilliant, it is such an easy repair to do that would probably cost me hundreds of pounds to get an engineer to fit. a similar item for a different make of dryer would probably be a couple of pounds. I suppose if you want the best you have to pay for it

If you have a noisy tumble dryer when turning, most of the time replacing those carbon brushes will fix the noise problem however it can be the bearing too(that's why you have to check them before purchasing). It's very easy to replace them, 10 minutes job. Thanks

While they’re genuine Miele, they are a smidgeon thicker than the originals, they have slightly less play in the holder, but work fine. Note, after cutting the old flexi braids, I cut twisted and soldered the old braids to the new & it’s worked very well.
