This was one that I missed for some strange reason. I'd never had a copy of this before. I bought it to add to my collection of Mike Oldfield, simply because it was one of his. This CD falls into the ' don't quite know where it sits' category; after the innovation of T. Bells, the drama and majesty of the next few albums led to a few sort of 'Pop' like offerings.... Mike then got his act together and gave the world 'Incantations'. And the rest of the world breathed a sigh of relief as Mike's creative genious was obviously back on track. Wondrous simplicity of melody and construction are highlighted here; spiritual joy and freedom will delight your ears. It aint heavy: It aint meant to be. It IS good though, damn good. Later came the modernistic and heavier, moodier likes of Light and Shade; this one, is the missing link. I'm jolly glad I found it!Read full review
