recommend for petrol pump rebuilds but not diesel
Bought this service kit for the gaskets to rebuild a Mikuni diesel lift pump for a lawn tractor. The gaskets and mini-valves were fine but nobody supplies the additionally required rubber diaphragm. Be sure what you are buying and pay particular attention to the required diameter of your pump; they do vary. If you're sure this kit supplies all the parts you need it is great value. Sadly we live in a "bolt on, bolt off" industry led repair society. I had to replace the whole pump for £150 for the sake of the missing diaphragm that should have been available and cost no more than £2. Missing Parts
Rubberized/synthetic valve seal discs missing. Clear plastic disc retainers do not seal liquid without them. Not original equipment. Had to cut 2 new discs from comparable diaphragm material.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

carb gasket rebuild kit needs Detailed, Illustrated sequential instructions!!!
I have NOT been successful in obtaining detailed gasket sequence instructions which I requested some time ago. My fuel pump does NOT work; I think I did Not receive one of the thick, outer ring gaskets because when I tried to match a YouTUBE installation video of the same pump I did Not have the matching gaskets.
