Great bin shame I can't buy bin liners
I was extremely pleased with the product but I have had the bin for 2 weeks, unused because I can't find the correct size bin liners. The product literature states size B but they are far too small. The 50l bin is much wider than a normal 50l. My quest is to be using the bin by Christmas, but I have my reservations. I contacted Morphy Richards who can only supply the details of the supplier but as of yet they have not yet contacted me. I await their response. Don't let this put you off the item, it was suggested to use the bin without liners... I might as well scrape everything into the wheelie bin, great in summer. As you can tell I am so disappointed not to be using my new bin. I am still using my old bin, which is 15 years old, still a teenager so perhaps there is still life in it yet. Expensive & luxurious with wonderful design.
I have graduated from a Morphy Richards 50Ltr sensor lid bin to the 75 Ltr bin. I love it! I have freed up space in my worktop from the food waste bin. Cooking and baking is easier as no need to touch the bin. Emptying for food waste, general waste and recycling is much easier.The bin opening mechanism is quieter than the 50Ltr version. Downside is finding bin liners which fit wide square top. 50ltr bin liners do not fit the aperture!
