Fit cover before fixing to ground. New bike home finished

Instructions vague no mention of fitting cover before securing to ground. So to save you doing it twice, like me. Take heed. Apart from that easy to assemble simple to use. Ride n Park lock n leave. I made a tweek to raise by couple inches so clears topbox, honda deuville now has new home.

    Good product but needs work

The instructions are vague to say the least. The fixings unless you drill your holes to exactly the depth of the fixing are useless as they are just a metal sleeve with a screw. So straight away just go and buy decent ones. Also there is zero guidance to suggest putting the cover on before bolting down the frame. So does the job but was bloody irritating.

  • Motorcycle storage

Easy to put together easy to use locking points for extra security. Been using it for a month now just put the bike in and pull the cover over a lot quicker and easier than an ordinary cover , bolts to ground so won't blow around in the wind very happy with it so far

  • Great cover

Really nice strong construction, cover material looks and feels like it will last and stop any water ingress, cover is a tight fit on the frame so much so when closed it doesn't quite touch the ground, I imagine this is so it stays tight as the material gives over time, either way it's not really a problem. The frame fixes down via 14 supplied anchor bolts, thin puppy ain't going anywhere no matter what the conditions. Assembly is a piece of cake with or without the rather poor instructions, hardest bit is working out which way round the cover goes on and wrapping the full length inch wide Velcro round the two end tubes, this must be done before anchoring it down. One small grip is one of the ground tubes came dented, this in no way affected the home nor is it visible so I left it. All in all a great product, only time will tell how it holds up but I feel it will last well.

  • Genuinely better than I expected

Some of the reviews on here are in my opinion (at least judging by the product I received) a little overly negative. Yes one of the internal velcro loops has come off, yes there are a few points where you can see holes in the fabric, yes there is a little rust on the mounting bracket already, but despite all of that I am genuinely surprised at how solid this thing is and my bike is completely dry despite a few really heavy downpours this week. Clearly I don't know how it'll stand the test of time - but I'm certain it'll buy me the 12-18 months I'm looking for before putting a permanent garage in place and for the price that seems fair. My only point of note is that it definitely needs securing down - we used standard screws into stone paving in the end and as we're only talking 12 screws in total the damage to the paving is minimal. Don't think you can get away without securing it - it's like a big kite otherwise!

  • This is the second of these covers I hav...

This is the second of these covers I have bought. They are excellent quality and well made. I would recommend one of these covers. But…… The first one I bought to cover my Triumph Tiger was massive! Plenty, plenty big enough but far too big for the space I have available. I didn’t return it as I had already constructed it and already had a buyer lined up for it. I then bought the next size down and although it is long enough it needs to be about 10cm wider and 20cm taller for my bike to fit.

  • Good motorbike cover, but doesn't sit flat.

It does what it says. It is weather proof and it does protect my motorbike... one thing to be aware of, if it rains, the water will get under it as it doesn't fit flat to the floor... the cover is very tight, which keeps the front or back up from the ground. I have put bricks on either side, to try and make it flat, which isn't good and doesnt look great... However, it does keep your bike dry, apart from the tyres!!

  • Designer must have been a biker!

With a little thought this is easy to put together and does exactly what it says it would do. Ride in, put bike on stand, close cover and that's it apart from snapping on a padlock and/or a security chain if you wish. 14 points to anchor it to the ground seems like overkill but gives choices of which ones to use. I can't fault it and as bike is free standing inside it gets a chance to dry out and no standard bike cover chaffing at the paintwork in strong wind. Brilliant!

  • Bike home - anchor it well

Bike home covers are good, so long as the centre plates are solidly anchored. Also get a ground anchor attached at rear tubing and also a ground anchor at front with a chain around the lot to secure it, stopping the front being lifted up. Would recommend you attach an old bed sheet on the inside as condensation can drip off the inside of the cover material. But they do keep bikes pretty well dry, though in a 'damp' atmosphere, so stuff does tend to rust a bit. But for what they are, they are reasonable - you really need to buy a shed or garage for proper weather proofing or security.

  • Does what it says on the tine

Simple concept, works well, As secure as it can be considering materials involved. Needs 2 people to put it together and install it properly. I have a Honda Shadow VT 750 large cruiser bike and it fits in fine.
