Nice little phone, feels nice and heavy (but not too heavy) in your hand. Does the job without all the unnecessary bulk apps, probably better suited to those who don't demand much of a phone (I'm a basic phone user...watsapp, chrome, emails, music). Loudspeaker music isn't great but decent with headphones. Could always connect to a music box or something.

I have long failed to understand how some people are taken in to the extent that they are prepared to buy mobile phones sold by a 'fruity' company that are massively expensive and where said company even decide what they can and cannot do on those phones. Motorola mobile phones represent (obviously in my opinion) superb value for money. Android is a far more open operating system, and allows users to do pretty much what they like with their phones. The Motorola in particular is an established brand with probably one of the best battery life spans on the market. Now I'm not a mobile 'zombie', i.e. one of these people who walk down the street staring at the screen as if the world depends on it, so I can generally expect a charge to last several days. Unlike our more 'fruity' mobiles, I can add an SD card so can put on lots of music, photos etc. without having to pay premium prices for a phone with more storage on it. In addition, I've had my own Motorola mobile, exactly the same model, for about 3 years now without any reliability issues (I bought this one for my wife). For me, battery life is probably the most important aspect and the Moto E is hard to beat.Read full review

Bought this for my partner for Xmas, he's delighted with it. Especially the fact u can talk a text msg. As he has fat fingers the keys have ample space between them. It's been well thought out when it was designed. Nice big clear screen. Easy to navigate. Camera not the best, but that's ok for the money. I would give it 4.5 stars. H. Bomb from Hull

As my first smart-phone it is an excellent an surprisingly low-cost introduction to the genre. Initial fears about tiny keyboards and big fingers have been dispelled due to the excellence of the uncannily predictive text. Often it knows my next word before I do! With the addition of an ultrafast fast SD card (one which has a letter U with a number inside it) formatted as a supplement to the 8Gb internal storage, it can take more than enough apps to satisfy me.(a screen and a half so far) The camera, at 5MP, is good enough for printing up to 7x5s or for general on-screen use and it's always there in your pocket ready for use at the flick of a wrist. The battery easily lasts me more than a day although I'm probably not a heavy user. It recharges quickly. Calls, texts, contacts etc, everything works so well I can thoroughly recommend this little phone. Had it had an 8Mp camera or more I would have awarded it another half star if possible but that's maybe a bit hard.Read full review
