I've always enjoyed watching the hairy bikers on the telly with their show doing their bit with what they had or were able to get hold of, in various far flung places! I caught them a few times doing some of their demonstrations locally and they never failed to amaze me with what they achieved in such a short time outside in the open spaces or wherever they'd "Set Up Their Cook-Shop!" I hate cooking, but sat looking at a friends Hairy Bikers book and felt some of the recipes sounded easy to make and looked good too. Then with my interest raised I watched one of their programmes on the television and just had to give it a go. So I bought this book and after much deliberation made one of the cakes. This bought comments from all those who know me mostly about age and loosing my marbles, but these changed once they had tasted it, and I am pleased to say they all enjoyed the result. I have since bought more Hairy ?Bikers books, and although I won't be baking every week, I will be trying out more recipes in the coming months.
