This camera although one of the cheaper options brought in by Nikon at the time still proved a worthy camera to bear its name. Even nearly 40 years on this camera functions perfectly, it came used but in mint condition with a lens that matches the body condition of the camera. Only put a few rolls of film through it so far during a trip to Iceland and I'm still getting used to film cameras being a student. Using Ilford HP5 and T-Max 400 This camera proved a great companion and looks matches. Images came out sharp and well exposed. Great easy to use and a perfect camera for someone starting out on film photography. Although does have a plastic body and can eat through batteries quickly if not set to m90 or bulb- turns camera off. Regardless a easy and simple to use camera with Automatic and Manual settings too. For it's age and condition it came in cannot complain for the price I got it at. Well worth investing if a good condition model is foundRead full review

It's an NIKON film camera, built to outlast any digital camera ever produced, it will still be working long after all those modern electronic pieces of plastic have all been scrapped.

It met my expectations. Clean and totally usable.

It's a precision tool for any photographer - amateur or professional - and, mated with any quality lens (plus a discerning eye), should always produce a first-class image. I have and use two digitals, but I still love the challenge of back-to-basics calculation of light, scene and depth-of-field factors. Old-fashioned, I suppose..... Get with the technology, Grandad !!
Brilliant camera...
