I was pretty comfortable with it in less than an hour
This is pretty darn easy to learn to ride and control. Within an hour of practice I was pretty good on it. Within 2 hours I was as almost too comfortable with it. I am no kid, and am not super agile, so this was surprising. I am zipping around on it pretty well. It takes some getting used to in terms of getting on initially, and trusting it to help you balance, but overall it is pretty dang easy. The only time I almost fell was when I tried to go up a hill that was too steep and it started to roll back, but that was my fault, as I had far exceeded the recommended climbing angle of 15 degrees. (I was testing the limits and am 200ish pounds). Stay on flat ground until you learn more, than gradually start doing curved and sloping paths and you'll have the hang of it in no time.
Of course you have to be careful, and I'm still using a helmet and wrist guards when I ride, but overall, this thing exceeded my expectations. It's only 28ish pounds, and fits easily in the back of many 2 seat sports cars.
