First of all I have to say I did not buy this phone to use as a phone!. I bought it for use as a camera, mainly video, in conjunction with a gimbal stabiliser. It is quite versatile as a video device as it offers a choice of 'formats' - it can be set to record in PAL or NTSC and at either 24 or 25fps.. This gives me the options that current smart phones do not, at least as far as I know!. As far as use with a gimbal is concerned there is a small problem - the camera module is proud of the back of the camera - this can be in the way of the clamp that holds the phone, but it will fit with a bit of persuasion!. The photographic quality in stills and video is excellent. There are one or two variations of case that are available to fit it plus a 'grip' that virtually converts the phone into a hand held camera. It is a very useful device to haven on hand rather than carrying a full size camera around. Highly recommended. DOUG COLLENDERRead full review

The performance was exactly what it said on the tin. The battery is pathetic to say the least a 2000mah for such a large device with such features you'd expect more oomph. The free softwares available are ok to a certain degree. Pro Shot at £1.50 is a treat for any amatuer or pro it has many settings and is brilliant. The sound quality lags behind Sony Samsung or the Iphone's. The video recording is good the stability promises are ok if you place it on a tripod and ask no one to breath. The thing that bothers me is that I can never take a picture at full resolution:) Overall it is a neat piece of technology beautifully pieced together to please consumers. Thank you Nokia...
great value for money and still excellent
