A collection of short stories from the master Peter Robinson including four regarding Inspector Banks All of them well told in his usual down to earth approach making everyone of them a joy to read and some with a complete twist in the tail. My favourite of these being Carrion as I half suspected the ending but not completely ( read it and youll understand why ) Each story is different, each is told well and each one leaves you feeling glad that you read it If you have not read Peter Robinson before then this would be a good taster for you and if you enjoy the Inspector Banks stories then acquire them to read Though each one is a separate story in itself it is best to read them in order to maintain the continuity of the character back grounds
