This camera is now discontinued. I first bought one in 2001 along with an underwater housing. The housing was more expensive than the camera so when the camera expired it was more economical to buy another camera to fit the housing. This is the third camera I've had but I'm still using the original housing. If I were to buy a camera today this is not one I would choose. It was OK in 2001 but things have moved on. If you are a collector, fine, otherwise get a nice new one.

Made the purchase to replace a damaged Olympus 600 - was an excellent price - I know this is an excellent camera in all respects Used my original camera when I went diving with an appropriate PT case = and being able to buy this replacement allowed me to use my original PT case and saved me money Really pleased
Small compact light camera, however found it could slip easily out of the hand. Major pitfall do not like the fact that on sunny days (when we get one!)you cannot see what you are taking photographs of at all, the screen, as big as it is is just a black square! A viewfinder is an asset on sunny days, and this camera would be much better if it had one. Overall the photos I have taken on this camera have been of excellent colour quality. I have tried out most of it's features except distance flashlight pictures. It is easy to navigate the menu buttons and I have found that once you have used a digital camera one is much like the other with regard to menu symbols. The battery was quick to charge just 2 hours and lasts a long time. Soft Wear easy to install on computer, overall not a bad little digital if you want to use it inside! Great starter digital! if you can pick one up at reasonable cost.Read full review
