A fascinating and heartfelt book. A great read! As a sheep farmer myself I read this in order to be irritated but instead found myself laughing and crying with the touchingly honest author! Her style is deft and readable, just wish there was a sequel!

This book is lovely, it is real life of how a young lady has a challenge to for fill her dream. Emma Gray is a shepherdess and we learn to realise how hard it is to achieve "the good life". One doesn't have to be into farming to enjoy her story as it is very well written and thought out. I have read her book and have made contact with Emma personally as her book really inspired me. I too am a shepherdess so have much in common. Please buy this book as it is excellent and makes one feel that achieving ones' dreams is actually possible.10/10 well done Emma look forward to your next book. Sam from West Sussex
Easy to read, super interesting - Emma comes over as a very likeable, interesting and determined woman- plus I learned a lot about farming. Really great read and I will buy her second book now, having enjoyed this one so much.

Really good interesting book. Kept me entertained from the beginning but then I am a collie lover and have been for an owner of collies for years.

Brilliant read,I enjoyed it as much as Amanda Owen shepherdess books.,and they were terrific. Not for everyone you must have an interest in the stories you are living through as you read Emma's experience's.Amazing to live alone in such remoteness.Hope she writes another one.. .
