These grips are worth more than the price I paid! They are indeed very warm; I use them with a three season glove and no knuckle guards and I’m warm this winter. I commute 32 miles a day along an exposed coastal road and these grips actually keep my hands warm! They are easy to install and are very tough and durable. If I really had to criticise, I’d say the bar-mount for the control isn’t great; it spins even if glued but that’s all I can say. I really do recommend these grips, and the price doesn’t reflect how good they are.

So I have just fitted my 3rd set of these grips to another motorbike. No frills, dimmer type heat control and in-line fused wire. Grips get hot enough for all but sub-zero ambient temps (99.9% of riding). Comfortable thru a glove they take just a minute or two to heat and then the infinitely adjustable heat dial can be turned up and down to suit. I bought mine for 30 quid new and I'm really happy with them. Only slight and I mention this only to inform other buyers (not slating the product, which is very good) issue came with one of the connectors. One metal slieve that accepted the male slieve pushed out of the connector block and caused me a mini minor panic when i went to test the grips!! So just make sure and be sure the connection is with the metal slieves inside the connector block and that it hasn't pushed out. Pros - Infinite adjustment, value, ease of use, low current drain (3 amps?) Cons - Not the most sleek design, no "voltage sensing" function (so if left connected direct to battery it will flatten battery) Just on that note. I ALWAYS connect through a ignition switched live wire. This ensures the heated grips switch off with the ignition ensuring u will not come back to a dead battery. Some Oxford products connect directly to the battery and switch off when the bike engine is off for a period of time. This obviously has a tiny drain on the battery. I prefer to have NO drain on the battery. If you don't know how - ask any competent mechanic how to wire it safely and properly.Read full review

nice bit of kit, seems well made, good connectors etc. I have been using them for about a week now and all is good like the options to mount the controller on the handlebars and the thermostat type control. Very please with them.

Fairly easy to fit and work very well. Been out for a long run in 2 degree temperature and hands were toasty, Result.

Why bother with any others. The best for at least half the price. Put on my Honda Varadero 1000 to replace the Oxfords. Best thing I did.
