I bought this CD as it holds many memories for me - some good and some bad - but all amazing nevertheless. It is a very melodic, chilled album but also very dark, especially tracks like 'The Box', which is a kind of electro slow drum n' bass track. 'The Girl With The Sun In Her Head' was written for a friend of the band's, Sally Harding, who tragically died, so it has a very emotional hidden meaning. Even though I don't know anything about Sally, I always find myself thinking about her while the track is on, wondering how she died etc. The track called 'Adnan's' holds very bittersweet memories for me, as I had the album when I ran away from home at 17, to live with my then-boyfriend in Newcastle (a million miles away from my Essex home). It reminds me of standing in his squalid flat staring at all the bright city lights through the huge windows and feeling so lost and small..... It is a fantastic album, and I thoroughly recommend it!! Jess 3Read full review
