i wasn't expecting much due to the price but unlike other cheap clock, there's no ticking noise and alarm is nice and loud. the switch is at the back, so there's no "switching off the alarm and dozing off" as you need to mentally wake up to switch it off (for me personally). there's no snooze function, very minimal in every level.

Nice looking clock but the blue alarm setting finger is much too obvious .Poor sighted people would have problems reading the correct time when the minute and hour hands get near to the alarm setting finger. This is the problem my wife had

This small Ikea alarm clock is quite useful, particularly for spare rooms or travel. It takes just one AA battery, and this lasts some time, it also has a handy alarm that sounds with a relatively loud shrill sort of noise. There are dials on the back for setting the alarm and the correct time. We’ve owned one for around two years and think that it keeps the time pretty well. Our only complaint would be that the ticking is quite loud. My husband is quite a light sleeper and finds this disturbing, so we use ours as a clock in his study. Useful little device though!

This is a ridiculously cheap basic alarm clock that works reliably. Its face is clear enough for my short-sighted eyes and the alarm is good and loud. If its looks don't thrill you, check out some of the instructions for decorating this clock that are all over the internet.....washi tape, anyone?!

This has no 24 hr function so alarm needs switching off for the next 12 hrs or it rings again, and needs to be remembered each time it's set. Poor quality, though cheap, not really fit for purpose.
