Have used this Osmo for years now.. mainly in the kitchen for the oak worktops and oak floor. The odour is bareable when you use it unlike Danish oil etc in fact some might say its quite pleasant. I use a woodworking brush to paint it on and i generally do the job once a year in the summer choosing a hot day as it dries quicker usuually in about 8 hours but saying that i dont like to walk on it till the day after next because although its dry i like to make sure it has properly hardened before i let the troops plod all over it. I usually mask off sections of the floor and we play stepping stones till its dry and all has been covered. Result is a lovely mid sheen that makes the oak look new and beautiful. Water will not penetrate and stands in beads till u wipe it. Bought the 2.5L which lasts me about 3 years. The only downside i can think of is that it skins over very quickly which means you loose a little of the product every time you open the tin as you have to take the skin off. Read full review

Easy to use, goes a long way. Can apply 3 coats in one day easily. Nice finish.

It was easy to apply and absorbed into the wood very well. I used cloth to wipe the surface after brushing where the wood was a little more porous in places. The grain really came through and the finish seems solid and durable.
