I installed this ground anchor into my garage floor to secure my motorbike using an Oxford Monster XL chain. The combination gives me great peace of mind. It was easy to install although requires a 16mm masonary drill bit which I didn't have (maybe add as an option to supply). Once installed it feels rock solid and the ball bearings in the hex nuts fit tight to stop easy access and the chain covers these anyway so they are almost impossible to access.

Had to replace the rawl plugs as they shattered when i tried to tap them into the wall, so bought some new ones, This is more suited to a chain but i used a D lock and it did not give me enough room to manoevre the Lock between the back wheel spokes and frame on a mountain bike, it can be done, just fiddly and hurts the spokes..... Heard Oxford were a good name, I am not impressed.

It's a good lump of metal. It's main virtue is as a visual deterrent, with a huge link sort of chain. There is no such thing as total security. It does need both a 12mm and a 16mm drill bit to fit it, and really an SDS drill especially if drilling in to concrete. And if drilling in to the floor, one finds out the hard way whether the concrete is deep enough for the fixing. Having drilled the serious holes, to get a best result one needs a wire hole brush and a hole blower pump. Realistically, lots of people have fitted these without difficulty. But if you are careful, be prepared.

Great anchor, very happy to secure my bike to it. I personally found nothing wrong the bolts or plugs, and please don't listen to the review about needing a18mm drill bit.... 16mm is perfect, there is always one that worries about size and says its bigger than is lol
