Although this is an older model I purchased the above because I thought as a working second hand MP it was good value for the price I paid. I had the same model when it first came on the market and with a 20 GB drive it was sturdy, although a little heavy. Todays version of the MP player would be better, hard drives have improved & now it would be made as an MP4 which would include photo's
excelant product from philips works a treat glad i brought it and its got 20 gb of memory and its easy to down load music onto it
Good device but the fact you cannot add music by drag and drop is a slight let down value for money compared with other players
The hardware is well made, excellent quality. The software in the Player is good, very intuitive. Philips DMM Desktop software is a disappointment, as is the DRM which means you cannot copy music off the unit only on to it and it does not accept drag n drop for MP3 files (at least it will not play them if copied this way. Although Vista is not offically supported, if you run the software in compatibility mode for XP, it works fine!
I bought this product (philips hdd120 mp3 player) because I already have a hdd100 which is almost full, so this will compliment it and allow me to store a lot more music using programmes I already have.
