It does shave most of the stubble but my problem areas get a lot of razor burn even by using beard oil and and foam or gel for a refreshing wet shave, i also bought a clean and charge station. And to tell you guys Philips are not bad shavers but i they require a lot of maintenance and it is costing me so far around 210 quids so i am even thinking if i bought brAun foil shaver might have been a more sane decision. I really don't know what to advice you guy. My personal recommendation is if you have friend who has the series 9 and if you have another having a brAun to ask them to let you shave once and see which one suits you better.
