Purchased on vinyl as I recently got my hi-fi record deck out of the loft and connected it to my amp, my 45 year old vinyl copy had way too many scratches to enjoy it. This new one came sealed and with all the original posters and bit of paper inside that you don't get with a cd and the 180 gram vinyl made the LP feel of a better quality than some of my old LP's. No sense in me reviewing the songs as everyone of my age knows this album inside and out, but when played through a good deck and a quality amp & speakers, this vinyl version sounds fantastic, it does sound different to the cd, somehow the deep sounds, sound a little deeper, I have also heard people say vinyl sounds a little warmer, which is also a good description. Every sound, how ever small is as clear as the cd, with the added feeling of more depth. Just remember to get up and turn it over after 20 minutes!Read full review

A bad release sound wise. Brilliant presentation, but awful sound. Mids and voice sound muddy and compressed. That is really a pity. One would think that a Pink Floyd record issued by a label with the same name would sound great. Not in this case though. By the way, “Wish you were here” (PFRLP9) sounds fine, much better then DSOTM (PFRLP8).

It’s as simple as the title, super quiet vinyl superb dynamic sound quality too. If you have a half decent record player then this album is good for you. Ignore all the purists who say the original sounds better, it probably does but only just by a whisker.

Great remastered Album Tracks of all time by Pink Floyd. The recording tracks on this album from the original has been remastered to an excellent standard. All tracks sound as good as first pressed and released when recorded at Abbey Road. I guess collectors would argue that the original is the best. However if you wish to pay silly money for an original go ahead. However this album sound great on my Hi-fi to my ear. So why, when this remastered version is on 180 gm thick vinyl, plus has not been played numerous times from how long from an old Album? The bonus also is the two posters, and two cards, that are not always given with other Album copies. So that's a nice touch like the original, and printed to a excellent standard. I therefore recommend this remastered album. That's If you can still get it? Read full review

Includes vary faithful replicas of the stickers/posters. The only downside is that the sleeve is made of soft textured suede-like material, which is very easy to get smudged! Otherwise an excellent purchase.
