The picture on this Tv is second to none.The blacks are just fantastic hence it's nickname Kuro which means black in Japanese.I did my homework on this product before I bought it so I know about the problems some plasmas have with screenburn. I've been using this for over a month now with no problems and I watch a lot of football on sky and no logo screenburn has happened.A good tip for that is to put your tv on the game setting for the first 250-500 hours of viewing or what I did was make sure the orbiter is on. I have only been using mt tv in standard definition and I can see a dramatic increase in the picture quality compared to my old Sony Vega which I thought was fantastic.I can't wait to get my hands on the new Pioneer LX71 so that I can watch some bluray and let the quality overwhelm me. Just to conclude then, if you are looking to buy a 42 inch TV then you can do no better than the Pioneer PDP428XD that is why it has been voted the best 42 inch TV 2 years on the trot ther's nothing out there to touch it.Read full review
