I have an old Mira Supajet power shower and the temperature control knob spindle broke.... You can't get parts for this shower anymore and an equivalent replacement was £400 +.. so I thought if I could get something that would stick the spindle back and hold I could fix it... So I done my homework and came up with this stuff and thought what have I got to lose... so I drilled through the front and stuck a small nut, bolt and washer using the Super Steel... then using more of the stuff I stuck I the spindle back on.. I then built up some layers around it... I then left it 2 days to dry... with the material of the control Knob being plastic I was sceptical to say the least... but so far it has worked brilliantly... it doesn't look pretty but you can't see inside it so it doesn't matter and it's saved me over £400 so I'm well happy...if anything it's stronger than before.... really good stuff... Highly recommended.Read full review

Unfortunately it's not up to the claims. Not very strong and doesn't hold metal well. I prepared the surfaces carefully with sandpaper, removing all paint and bringing it down to the bare metal. Applied the glue and left it for 12 hours, just to be certain of a strong bond. It came apart very quickly when I applied pressure. Tried again. Same result.

I like to make parts for my motorcycle and fix bits and pieces, so I use epoxy glues quite often, this one seems at least as good as any I've used. Being a very dark grey, almost black colour, means that it's been brilliant for black fairing panel repairs and strengthening other areas. The bond produced is very strong, if you ensure the two parts to be joined are clean and slightly roughened, the bond is probably the best I've used - ideal for fairing lugs etc. The mix doesn't take many minutes to begin hardening, so once you've positioned the fixed item it's not too long before you can move it. If you leave the repair for 24 hours it seems to be at full strength nd you can drill it, or whatever. Yep, I like it !

Brilliant stuff - I used it to stick a broken piece off a concrete gatepost back together and it's now rock solid. I wondered if it would be strong enough to hold a triangular piece with sides about 15cm and 4cm thick together but after holding it in place for 5 minutes while it dried out it worked really well. It should be good for lighter and easier materials, too, if it holds something this heavy.

Good epoxy compound. Sticks to aluminium cylinder very well. Used it for 2 stroke cylinder transfer port repair. Filled penetrating hole in side of transfer port. Easy to machine, good properties to handle heat and expansion metal where it was applied. Repaired spot is next to cross on flywheel, side of cylinder.
