My first gamer mouse was a Razer Diamondback (around 20 bucks with 3 buttons) and when I could afford better stuff I replace it with the Razer Imperator. I like to play games in my free time and I I've had the Imperator for a couple of years. It was a disaster from the start and had planned to change it asap only a few months after the purchase, I kept it for as long as I did due to its high price. Recently after some browsing, along came this new version of my good ole' friend. The price, the feel and the response were better than my previous mouse (despite both being Razer). The last straw is that the Razer Diamondback Chroma looks way better than the Imperator. Please do keep in mind that this is my opinion but I would recommend the Razer Diamondback Chroma to any casual gamer, that wants a good mouse that looks the part. Regards ppl.Read full review

This diamondback was for my son, I've had mine since 2005. Still works perfectly today. Excellent design, comfortable, precise.

Even with surface calibration the cursor jumps down when the mouse is lifted. Which is quite annoying in every fps game.
