The design seems quite good, but it has to be against a wall to keep the mouse entrance open, or it needs to be on a very flat floor that doesn't shine, and even then the opening sometimes closes of its own accord. I have seen mice in my kitchen and I've used two traps, but haven't caught even one. I had some different designed mouse traps before, and they worked very well, I caught all the mice within a week. They got damaged unfortunately I haven't been able to find any similar.
