So far so good. Decent printer for small money. Great quality prints, fast and expected to be good value for money as it's been promissed to print 700 pages with starter cartridge. Setting up this printer is a separate story. Manuals are too complicated and confusing. Thanks to one customer's review on Amazon I was able to set it up quickly. First set up WiFi on printer (easy way described in manual) and only after that insert CD in your computer and set it up as a Network printer. If you do things in different order or decide to go through USB cable setup you might end up spending an hour on that.

Ideal starter printer and the price is great! However a little searching on the internet for the drivers and lack of instructions, if you have no idea on printers you may be better going elsewhere! The ink it comes with states 700 pages! Well 120 sheets in (only simple text) and its out so I would buy another cartridge at the same time. Good print, fast and when set up it works well! as a second printer/back up this is ideal but not as a main printer!

The Ricoh SP 213w Laser Printer arrived very quickly and took only minutes to set up. Firstly, I was impressed with the build quality of a printer costing less than most toner catrridges. I have an old computer running Windows XP and thought I might have problems with a printer driver but it was there and worked faultlessly first time. I am printing using a directly connected cable as my old computer doesn't have wifi or bluetooth or any wireless capabilit so I can't comment on any of those features. It does exactly what I need it to do and produces top quality prints. I am printing a self penned book using the double sided printing feature which requires me to print odd and then even pages, manually turning the paper over. I can do this a chapter at a time and it is no hardship whatsoever as it only takes a few seconds to do. Overall a very impressive printer. I don't know how many pages I will get out of the starter printer cartridge (a full capacity cartridge is not supplied). I just hope the replacement works as well as this one. I would rate this product five stars or give it a score of ten out of ten and recommend it to family and friends.Read full review

Easy set up if you use the USB and remember not to connect until prompted to do so. Lovely sharp, clear printouts although I did find that the cartridge didn't last long. Someone told me to take the cartridge out, give it a shake and reinsert it. I'll try that next time. I you're into 'foiling' this is the printer for you, as foiling only works with toner printed images done on a black and white printer. Easy to use.

Bargain quality USB printer with very reasonably priced toner, but... This printer is obviously heavily discounted (£40 for a lazerjet printer) due to the lack of Ethernet connectivity and a very clunky WiFi configuration. If you can buy this printer at this knock-down cost (£40) and you are prepared to deal with a frustrating WiFi configuration procedure it's worth a punt. If all else fails it configures as a USB printer. The WiFi configuration may well be a "wing and a prayer" exercise. All that stated, it is a great machine once up and running on WiFi. It has not lost it's configuration even after being switched for days at a time.
