Used for a metal tile effect (roof 15 deg angle) for ventilation in loft due to excess heat build up from solar inverters and battery storage units, very easy to fit just cut roof panel slightly wider than window wooden frame and cut two slits for run of apron and follow simple instructions on box. to allow water to escape,seal end of slits to apron with an outside adhesive filling cartridge to stop any dribbles of rain. job done. it comes with the universal surround to suit a vast number of roof structures. very pleased light in attic, fresh air,ventilation and with a piece of polystyrene insulation cut to size hides the sun when not wanted and doubles the insulation in winter, obviously long term review is not possible as only fitted two weeks but cheep enough to replace every few years not that anything suggests this would be required. ps i drilled out two rivets to remove window so it was feather light to fit, refitted with new rivets when frame was fitted. far easier. two small bolts would suffice if no rivet available. This is good value if you want a basic sky light. You only get instructions printed on the box that it comes in so it's worthwhile taking your time to work the fitting out before cutting your roof. There's an instructional video on Youtube that's a good idea but it's not great quality so you have to watch it several times. Take care in working out how the flashings fit and slates/tiles overlap.
