These really are smashing acoustic strings. I recently bought a Yamaha FS800. The factory strings were quite horrible! I swapped them for some Martin Extra Lights (10 gauge) that I happened to have, but found they lacked tension on this shorter scale guitar, with the bottom E easily pushed off the fretboard by my less than delicate technique. After some research these Rotosound 11 gauge Jumbo Kings looked like they might suit me better, and they do, giving just the right tension to balance playability with great tone and projection. They come in a great value 3 pack plus a free guitar strap. The strap isn’t the loveliest, but I’ve put it on my old beater, and swapped my nice strap to the FS800. Very happy customer!

These have been on my tanglewood tsm3 for a couple of weeks and have settled in nicely. Like most string thy were a bit metallic for the first 24-48 hours but are now warm and clear. The guitar has a bell-like tone which is excellent for picking. These strings allow this sound quality if that makes sense. They compare well with similar Martin and D'Addario strings and were a bit cheaper too. Nice to be able to buy British. I'm going to put some on my L'arrivee too. Other nice features include the coloured ball ends and minimal but effective packaging.
