Great film, one of Leo McCarey's masterpieces as well as one of Laughton's most enjoyable performances. Given the subject matter, it's strange that it's never been released on Blu-ray in the U.S. - this is actually a UK release (now out-of-print) and worth tracking down if you have a region-free or region B Blu-ray player. (There's also a region 2 DVD in this package as it's a dual-format release, but the Blu-ray disc will have much better picture quality.) Since it's out-of-print, prices will be high, but it always retailed for 20 British pounds anyway (which can be anywhere from $25 to $40 USD given the fluctuating currency exchange of the past decade) so the increase in price isn't as much as you'd think.
