One of Jackie's first US influenced films but don't let that put you off, it is still full of his trademark action, stunts and gags. Every Jackie fan should have one. Don't look at "Rumble in Hong Kong" because although the title is similar the film is poor.
Darker and more nastily violent than some of Chan's other films - a scene in which a plucky ten-year-old kid in a wheelchair is beaten up by a hoodlum is specially unwelcome and unnecessary. On the positive side, this stunt-rich martial arts comedy-thriller has some laugh-out-loud moments and the scenes involving a rampaging hovercraft are brilliant.
I think this film is great. The action is good and it is funny in parts. I had the video, so just had to buy it on dvd. I must for your Jackie Chan collection.
