Not worth buying unless fully serviced.(properly)! Display an all white image and check for dead pixels and discolouration. Service to fix can cost over 1000. Check for corrosion around lens housing. Amazing and reliable once cured. The value is not in the product...more its condition this is the difference between 50 & 2000. Only buy with a guarantee from the service center against LCD failure (this is a very common issue caused we believe because sanyo did not coat their alloy lens chassis .... Once cured, stripped down and full optic wash and ALL white alloy corrosion dust removed.... They stand the test of time and reliability) without this service you may as well buy a sanyo xp57 (dusty optics can have a huge effect on lumens, a 7000 lumen projector can look as bright as a 2000 lumen projector depending on its condition. Lamp life also effects this. Compare and read full descriptions.....Ask for a photo of an all white displayed image There is a test pattern feature in the menu... Go through each image and check for flaws in the image. Parts to fix dead pixels or discolouration and new original lamp can come to over 700 + labour! Don't buy used even if they have low hours unless they are treated and serviced with a guarantee. Don't let this put you off.... Once treated these projectors are utterly amazing... Don't bargain hunt or you deffinately will not get what you bargained for! Stunning when in good cured conditionRead full review
