The spring had popped out on my flush button but it still worked. I had no idea the name of the flush button I had but the picture of this item looked just like mine so I took a punt on buying it and it was perfect! The ring that raises the flush button doesn't have to be used as I prefer my button to sit flat.

We have to order these push button flushs on a regular basis as over time (not a long time) the units 'seperate' as the plastic appears to be too thin. These should last for a number of years however the flushing action combined with thin plastic makes for replacements being required regularly. The top 'button' element can also seperate from the base leaving just the white column lever showing to flush the toilet. This seems to be due to thin plastic breaking/separating again within a short period of time with normal use. They could easily be made stronger and therefore last longer but regular replacement seems to be the only option....

We seem to be getting through these buttons at quite a rate. They are only made of plastic and the button keeps breaking. We cannot find a metal chrome Optima button so are forced to keep buying these plastic buttons. We would not recommend, but you may have no choice!

Perfect replacement spare part, saved changing whole cistern/loo again. Is a bit pricey but in my case worth it as was a complete new loo only about two years ago. Hopefully this one will last somewhat longer.

These buttons break from time to time. A fact of life considering the construction. OEM or third-party item makes no difference. So just go for good price, good service and speedy delivery!
