Saints Row as a series has moved on a lot since the gangsta trappings of the early games to become a record selling franchise that has a lost a lot of charm and become more ridiculous and puerile. However, Saints Row 2 is the game that sent the franchise into the stratosphere and deservedly so. This game is a little more silly and wacky than the first installment but maintains a lot of the same characteristics and gameplay. However, the story is well paced and compelling, laced with fantastic drama and character building moments. Outside the story, there is a massive world to explore, activities, diversions and collectibles to create an experience that will last 50 hours+. The customization is where this game truly shines. From the first minutes you care confronted wiht a deep and flexible character creation system. Once in the game. you can infinitely customize your player character with clothing. jewelery, tattoos and clothing options galore and the plastic surgeons will allow you use that character creation engine as many times as you wish (as long as you have $500). There are some downsides. At times the gameplay can become a little repetitive, especially during some of the activities. However, the enhancements you gain in-game often outweigh the drag. However, many of the activities are fantastic and you will need to play them to unlock the story missions. Another downside is that this game is quite old now and the controls do feel a little wonky and outdated. However, there is some customization here and it is more or less intuitive. You may run into a couple of crashes on the way but the autosave feature normally means you do not lose too much progress In summary, you have probably heard someone talk about how good this game is and told you to buy it and for the price it is selling for now used on ebay, you cannot go wrong. There is a little something for everyone here and you may end up sinking 100 hours into it to see everything. Read full review

I've heard this game described as a poor mans grand theft auto and I would have to say I agree. It's a good game it has a few unique elements to it but it shows it's age in terms of graphics and it falls quite short in reaching GTAs standards but it's worth a play considering you can get it pretty cheap these days and it might be to your liking.

Wow, thank you it’s been a while since I’ve played this game and I’m glad it works as I’m used to it glitching out and freezing the whole console, thank you I really love this game

I had not played this game before the sagas, but the gameplay saints row the third I saw just loved the game, and very entertaining their missions, all missions are very fun game, initially we can do a thousand and modifications in our character, which leads us to be creative when it comes to making the characters, the game has great graphics quality of both sound and easy playability, I would strongly recommend to buy because we have many hours of madness and fun spectacular, if the fourth saga I will surely buy this game
