This is a good little camera but has a few negative issues. I bought it to replace a fujifilm camera that's served me well for the last 10yrs, thought this would be a slight upgrade replacement, good for taking pictures of the family when on holidays and outings, metal casing, nice colour and touch screen added details. I have so far been disappointed in my choice. It is touch screen operated only, there is no fall back on buttons if required. Not good for details. The touch screen is constantly exposed it cannot be protected unless in a case, running a risk of damage and scratches when in your pocket for easy and frequent access on family trips to the woods or the beach. The menu screen is spread over a number of pages, difficult to navigate and change options quickly when flitting between photo opps and recording events. Takes a while to focus and capture an image, disappointing when trying to capture spontaneous moments of family life with 3 young children and a dog. It's light weight and the picture quality is good, good battery life and clear zoom, nice options for backgrounds and effects (although these need planning). It may grow on me over time but overall good value for money in a sale but more suited to a first camera for tweens, not for snap happy parents who like spontaneous, good quality photo's.Read full review
This is a really great camera for taking basic macro photographs, portraits etc, easy to use, easy to hold (especially for people like myself with health issues), and has a good and clear help section on the camera itself. The only down point is the really dreadful manual, which could easily have said that most of the info is contained on the camera. And it could be a little more programmable on the macro side. However, for a little portable camera, it does a lot for the money.
Seems OK still trying to get to grips with all the features. Dont quite understand the flip up screen
I bought the camera for my wife and she loves, it so far no probs would certainly say it was great value for the money we paid for it.
stunning little camera and its packed with loads of fun features. good points loads of fun modes ,3d, filters, panorama, excellent touch screen, vivid colours, simple for any one to use.. bad points small and not easy to hold, micro sd card fiddly overall a brill camera you will enjoy , better in smaller hands (ie female)
