I got this as a first mobile for my 8yr old son as I own another Samsung model and very happy with it. All things considered (no front cam, tiny screen, small ram) we certainly expected it to run simple messaging apps such as Whatsapp : It doesn't , constantly crashes and cannot handle not even the simplest app, even loading Play Store is a challenge. Good only for traditional 2G and text style telephony, otherwise avoid.
