I was after a fairly quiet printer that I could have near me at the side of my desk. I tried a super fast HP printer and other makes but was shocked by the noise. I found I just could not take a phone call. I had had a Samsung laser printer many years back and found it a good solid printer. So I looked again for a Samsung laser and chanced upon this model. I particularly wanted to be able to add a spare tray and needed a networked model. I was pleased with my purchase as it achieved all my requirements plus an unexpected bonus of duplexing which works a treat. I managed to source a spare tray and seem to be able to purchase genuine Samsung heavy duty toner cartridges for about £60. So pleased with the result that I have purchased another 5 units for the office. Staff are so pleased with the quieter environment. The duty cycle is as high as 30,000 pages per month, so these printers should last a good length of time. A really good purchase experience. Full marks Samsung!Read full review
This Printer is Perfect for small Work groups who need a decent laser printer. I use it in my store back office to print reports, shelf labels sticky labels etc and it works a treat. I am not bothered that the dupliexing side is not working as I would never really need to use that side.
