Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Graphics/Video Cards
I already owned one, and decided to buy a second to attempt 4k gaming across three monitors. As a card on its own, it performs at a moderately high standard. Most of the latest games can be played at high to very high quality, with a fps of around 40. The card is also fairly good at video and even rendering, with a fps of 30+ for each. As for the temperature of the card, I've never seen it reach higher than 60C. Now as I stated, I've bought this for a 4k setup with three monitors. Most would assume that this is a bogus attempt to create a cheap 4k setup. With the new Raedon software CrossfireX is automatically set up, making installation and configuration no problem at all. For games, in 4k, in case you were unsure, you need Display Port wires and screens. Across three monitors, setup in AMD Eyefinity, 4k gaming averages at 45fps per screen, on nearly all of the latest games at high settings. I haven't tested rendering yet, but for video recording and watching 4k is steady at around 35-40fps. So overall, you don't need to buy an expensive setup with gtx gpus or higher, when you can settle for the last generation of R9s. For those that wish to know, I'm running Win8.1, with 32Gb of 2400mhz Kingston Fury RAM, and an FX-8580 overclocked to 4.9Ghz.Read full review
