I have had no problems whatsoever with this drive.

Obviously, it goes without saying that this isn't the largest or the quickest HDD out there. However, I've monitored it - on the computer of the friend for whom I bought it - and it runs as well as new. It's also dirty cheap, and was speedily delivered. What more can you ask for?
Not really a great deal you can 'say' about a 'hard disk drive'! However, over the last few years, i've tried and used several different makes, models, sizes and 'technologies' of hard drive and without question Seagate are the very best! (Although you have to remember, that's purely MY opinion, not strictly a fact!) I've found, in practice, Seagate drives to be the most durable and will 'tolerate' some pretty hefty abuse! (but PLEASE don't try that out!) So, whilst there are other excellent makes of HDD out there (Western Digital are good too) In my humble opinion, you wont go far wrong if you use Seagate drive(s) for your PC! (Couldn't comment on laptops, tried one once, that was plenty!) Anyway, to sum up, for those that like to build, upgrade and generally 'fiddle' with PC's use Seagate. If you need a HDD to 'fit & forget' use any (branded) drive.Read full review
I wanted another hard drive to install a second OS on my system and this Seagate 80GB drive was great choice. Very cheap, good data transfer rate and reliable. 80GB are good enough to keep any OS.
