I use one of these for incident light readings, alongside a Weston Master V for reflected light readings. The Weston is capable of incident readings using the Invercone attachment but these are diddly to install and people have inadvertently pushed in the glass, snapping the needle in the attempt. My Leicaflex SL camera has a dud light meter, but of courses, even if the meter did work, the 1.35v mercury batteries are no longer available. So I find these non-battery powered meters to be extremely versatile. The Sekonic is still available new and plenty used at very reasonable prices. Just a word of caution: in bright light, when you insert the High slide, please remember to move the dial to co-incide with the "H" mark and not the usual mark
