I'm definitely a shimano man when it comes to brakes, and the Deore M6000 bring all the best features into an affordable price range. One this I might add about purchasing these off Ebay is.. be prepared to give them a bleed. I've had two sets and for the main part they were an install and go. I had one set where the rear brake needed a bleed. The great thing about shimano though... they are SOOOOOO easy to bleed, so not really a negative at all. These will be a major upgrade if you are running entry level stock brakes on your bike.

Some of the original plastic packaging showed signs of hydraulic oil and on one lever prior to opening. One calliper spacer was missing from kit so needed to adapt old Avid spacer to suit. Otherwise good product value if comlete and if fluid found in packaging is not an ongoing leak.

Although not in the full original packaging the brakes were brand new and showed no signs of being used or previously being handled. Fitting was a a breeze (my 13 year old son did it) and they have proved to be very reliable brakes

I imagine there are better brakes in the world but what more do you need from a brake?? These are great. Came pre-bled so I made a mess shortening and internally routing them but easily bled again afterwards with the right kit.
