Not their best ever album but perfectly good to listen to.

I am unable to give a review as the seller has failed to send me the CD. I wanted to purchase the CD having seen them in concert, and again last friday at Sidmouth folk festival, they were amazing.
I bought this album because some one mentioned them and said they had heard they were 'quite good'. I'm normally into quite heavy rock/metal, but do have a thing for folk. From play to end, I didn't stop listening! I was taken on a journey that mixed old fashioned folk with modern events. I was in the time of the Tudors and tomrorrow! Musically, they are really good. The album is quite stripped (it's not over the top), but there is always a lot going on, from violin solo's, choirs, to single voices (male and female)... The mix is top notch. It never sounds 'epic' as such, but it's never empty. It sounds stripped down and huge!
Great English folk music sung by an excellent modern duo, well worth buying and enjoying... just about sums it up.
