I bought this item due to the focal length and the actual physical size. also with it being an old legacy lens i got it at what i think was an absolute bargain price. being second there is always the chance of lenses having fungus, but this lens was completely free of that pest. overall i'd say i got a good lens at a great cost and im well happy with my purchase.
Bought this used. Came with both end caps. Focus is good but tends to hunt in certain uses. Overall, for its age and only being able to use in film cameras it’s not a bad buy.

I use this camera and lens along with the kit 18mm-55mm when I go on holiday abroad. Covers the full focal length I need and if lost or damaged it won't damage my finances too much. Delivers very good image results. For the price this is an excellent lens. Not a fast lens for fast moving photography and a bit yesterday design. If you get your focus spot on and use this lens between 80mm to 200mm at f8 it wont disappoint. Good results f5.6 to f11. Pros - Good on DX camera. Sharp, good contrast, good flair and chromatic abberation control (with a lens hood fitted) from f5.6 on. Sweet-spot f8 for this lens. Rubber grip. Snappyish focus. For the price a good lens. Cons - Manual focus ring not smooth. Noisy AF which can hunt a bit in lower light conditions. Push pull zoom might not be for everyone (I like it).Read full review

This was a bargain and exactly what my son needed. Clear focus and perfect photographs.

As expected the rubberised finish was sticky but after some work with isopropyl alcohol it cleaned up beautifully. Now I have a good lens at a bargain price.
