This doesn't appear to be an official sky remote, just a cheap knock-off. One of the buttons did not work, so pretty useless! I ended up pulling it apart and replacing the board from an old remote. (Which I had to cut down to fit even though it was supposedly the same version). The build quality is not as good as the original remote. I suppose it would do (if it worked), but you will be taking a risk and I'm not sure about the longevity of it either.
