  • This is the best buy for the price, out standing quality A++++

This is the best buy for the price, outstanding quality, tripod is more then good enough for this telescope. it all works far better then expected, I would recommend this telescope to friends. I have tried out many argos type telescope's and this beats there best at the same price, this is not a toy but real telescope,

  • Good starter telescope

Good starter telescope. Positives. Good build quality, decent eq mount. Good solid tripod. Eyepieces are OK. Negatives: No collimation spot on mirror. Mirror removal requires full collimation afterwards. Upgrades suggested: Mirror spot. Better plossl eyepieces , extra eyepieces , tuning of focusser. Better finder.

  • Well made and would suit a non-beginner.

Perhaps the wrong purchase for a beginner. Need more training! Fairly ease to put together but so far unable to use easily. Nice product however and would recommend it to a non-beginner.

  • Great beginner scope

This scope is easy to put together very sturdy and good quality. Prior reading is a must to understand using it. Once mastered you can get some great results in no time.

  • Excellent equivalent to the more common Explorer 130 EQ

Excellent reflector telescope. For me a significant upgrade from a 60mm refractor. Its fair to say the EQ mount needs some research first to understand how it works. But once you understand it, its a sturdy and smooth system, making star tracking a doddle. This is basically a 'non-uk' version of the more common Skywatcher Explorer 130 EQ. As far as I know, same scope and mount. Plenty of info and manuals online if required. Solid metal tripod and mechanics along with a red dot finder and quality eye piece optics. What more could you want at this price point?

  • Ok

It’s ok, not what I thought, took quite a long time to set up, and I thought it would be more powerful. The instructions are not great, I had to work out most of it myself
