Again Sony brings a great product to the market straightforward to use for the technophobe's out there and with all the advanced features to keep the technophiles happy, just remember you will need a usb pen drive to play back Blu Ray disks and as for performance its a Sony it will always be great on performance.

Great DVD/BluRay player. I use it a lot, for many hours at a time and it performs great. I just use it for playing so no idea what all the extra ports are for, including an ethernet connection and optical (digital red) connection for fibreoptics, so beyond what I need. There is a little light on the front that illuminates for dvds and glows blue when a bluray is inserted, so that's a cheesy but cool feature. I got mine second hand yet in mint order so probably a better deal than what most paid. Only grumble is when you push eject the drive can take a long time to open, like it's puzzling and having a migrane over a lot of computer code, but works fine none-the-less. Also a button to bypass all the mandatory pirate/copywrite BS on DVDs and BluRays would be class.
