well what can i say ,after my little boy decided to leave starwars behind,he took to spiderman movies and as his birthday was coming up i bought him this out of the blue and this series is stunning in every respect'really up to date with story lines and the theme music is rather cool and original ,i enjoyed watching this myself,highly recommended.

I bought this DVD because I Like Marvel and Spiderman. The 13 Episodes on this DVD where originally broadcast on MTV around 2004. It is produced By Brian Michael Bendis who wrote the Ultimate Spiderman Comic Books. It's interesting to note how the usual 'geeky' Spider-man has been made slightly 'cooler' for the MTV audience. The Animation is excellent and created using both CGI and cel Shading. Due to the freedom of this animation process, Spiderman spends plenty of time swinging around New York showing off the CGI's limitless potential. It actually looks like comic book characters 'pasted' onto a cartoon. Very cool effect. All the usual Villains appear: Kraven, Electro, Lizard and the themes and dialogue between Spider-man and his enemies should appeal to both young and old audiences alike. Spiderman The animated series DVD 2004 is an excellent addition to the Spiderman universe and, In my humble opinion, better than all of the Billion pound movies put together.
